Below, we feature Tunisian Artisanal Olive Wood. Crafted at its source in Tunisia, Africa, this wood is one of the finest, rarest, and most beautiful available. A distinctive red pigment in its grain gives the wood a charming honey hue, which darkens over time. Bottom line: older trees darker olive wood. We love its smooth texture as well as the rough natural edge of the limb left behind by the individual craftsman. Combine this with their promise that NO YOUNG TREE IS EVER DAMAGED OR DESTROYED IN THEIR CRAFTING PROCESS, well, we just like their "whole enchilada".

Tunisian Olive Wood Cutting Board We take great care to emphasize that our Tunisian Artisanal olive wood products are "one-of-a-kind". This was brought home to us as never before after receiving our most recent order of cutting boards. We have NEVER seen such beautiful objects. These are Italian-style boards, no drip edge, just more beautiful wood. Currently, we are offering 3 distinct sizes. Each is approximately 1" thick, each has a raw edge left behind by the artisan, and each is to die-for. Irregularly shaped, measurements are made at the longest and widest points of the board. The accompanying image is only representational. Your board will vary slightly from our picture. This first board is medium in size, 8" x 20" x 1", ideal for a smaller work space, or used as a cheese board perhaps. Fewer curves, straighter sides.
