These caramels have a little KICK! Spicy, smoky Chipotle peppers give some heat to these soft chocolate caramels. Our confectioner begins by grinding whole dried Chipotles with sugar. Then dark corn syrup, cream, butter, chocolate and milk are added. The "wet method" of caramel making is used, cooking and stirring the caramel mixture constantly, until the perfect soft caramel consistency is reached.

Each candy is hand cut, then garnished with a touch of chili powder and hand wrapped in waxed paper. Each caramel weighs approximately 1/3 ounces. Approximately 11 pieces are contained in a 4 oz bag. Due to the handmade nature of these candies, pieces may vary slightly in size and appearance.
